Firstly, I get that in a market is almost always good for the end user, except it, it appears, with subscription services. Some competition I really don't mind, especially if the providers become creators and continue making awesome shit like Narcos and Master of None. I gleefully await The Grand Tour on Amazon Prime.

So now, every single time I see a Facebook update from these scum sucking parasites advertising "What's coming up on NEON next month?", I sigh, and cringe as I see the titles of shows and films I wont be able to watch in HD on Netflix. I even tried to watch NEON, but the smudgy low bit rate crap they trickled down the tubes at my TV literally looked like Ned Stark made of dogs vomit mixed up with shit on a stick.

"Hmm, I feel like watching Inside Out....wait....wtf, it's not on Netflix? but all of Disney....wait....no....no....nooooooooooooooooo!"

I can watch Toy Story (1995) in HD on Netflix, and I can watch Inside Out (2015) on NEON in SD. These films are 20 years apart, and so too is the picture quality, except it's backwards. The film released in 2015 has 1995 picture quality, and the film released in 1995 has 2015 picture quality. Does this seem fundamentally wrong to anybody else?
