Sure, there are lots of minor details that, once put into the big picture, can contribute to a lot of the hype regarding the conspiracy. I admit there are a few times during some programs on 9/11, or that shit doco Loose Change, that had me wondering "How the fu...?". Surely there's got to be something going on?

But then reality strikes, and the shear scale of 9/11 coupled with the tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of individuals that would have agreed to keep quite, therefore sanctioning this action, just seems too unrealistic to be credible. Maybe not the tens of thousands of people bit, a need to know basis sure, but still. That is a mighty truckload of people who would have to say sure thing.

To me, the reason people let this go on, is because on the day that happened, and the years leading up to 9/11, it just demonstrates how much of a joke airport security was, and all of the processes leading up to that main event, and how lack-luster they all were in following protocol.

Much rather let people think they know A, when infact it only happened because of a number of things occurred resulting in B right?

Why so many people?
It doesn't require that many at all.

See also the PNAC. I feel that, if they were not directly responsible, they were at least culpable, to the extreme.

Conspiracy theorists and religious nuts sound the same because they are.

They are the intellectual equivilents of low watt bulbs.

Logical explanations scare them because in answering one question, logic poses other more frightening riddles.

Like Heather Mills. But seriously, produce ONE person (out of the cast of thousands) who was involved. Surely there is SOMEONE out there who has a conscience and want's to get it off their chest?

TBH, if something of this magnitude was planned...  only a select few would know about it at the top elites and not thousands of people...

That's what I wanted to say, but I always worry I'll get carried away. Truly enormous projects and tasks can be undertaken by many people, and only a few need to be co-ordinating.

Now I'm getting the fuck out of this thread.

Also, see my sig for tinfoil hat goodness.

Assuming I actually understand what this means, 300 extra billion in defense plus the trillions that have gone missing in the last ten years must be beneficial to the machine....

That's what they want you to think. Label someone a conspiracy theorist and instantly they are judged and ignored. Convenient.

Perhaps someone planted that idea in society by making false flag conspiracy theorist claims in order sway public opinion towards the negative... a conspiracy theory about public perception of conspiracy theories... it's... beautiful...

What is worse is that no matter how many people claim the same thing, they get grouped as 'conspiracy theorists' and ignored.

For example: The alien space craft shot down over Rosswill was hit with an experimental Tesla Death Ray from a plane flown by an American Pilot.

The pilot is still alive and swears the story to be true.

Ripleys: Believe it, or not!

It reminds me about burning witches at the stake, you could almost consider it the modern equivalent. Grouping everything that involves a conspiracy together and prejudging them as a singularity.

Case by case basis and judge based upon the evidence. I don't see why a "conspiracy theory" should be any different to any other contested truth.

And Tiwa that guys just nuts. Everyone knows it was the lizard people surface reconnaissance vehicle that crashed in Roswell.

Here's a real conspiracy to consider. Did Gen. Barry McCaffrey (USA) conspire to break the ceasefire (GW1) culminating in the Battle of Rumaila slaughter?
I believe he did and that his words "find a way for me to kill all of those bastards" sadly sums up the maniacal attitude the USA has to war.
If the conspiracy itself doesn't spin your wheels, the other atrocities (brought out by the investigation into the Battle of Rumaila) that were commited by the USA in this war "should" alarm us all.
Especially given that when the USA fight these wars they claim to represent us too (bundled among the "western democracies").
Some background here...
