My work building is orange stickered. The registry and Student Union ballroom are red stickered.

Had a Department meeting in Prebbleton Hall yesterday. These are going to be difficult times.

Damn this dust. Getting tired and more cranky than usual!

thx for the heads-up, Mr Duck.  ;)
but yeah, difficult times ahead alright. I've decided to drop out of my two first semester papers and take two different ones in semester two... hopefully things will be a little less weird by then

OK we've booked a truck for Sunday  13th. If we have 2 or 3 people who are free to help load and unload the heavy stuff, they will be amply rewarded with beer and pizza. PM me or bitchimom if you're free and keen

A mate of mine was a Civil Defence volunteer down in Christchurch and he was telling me that they got training/warning about liquefaction. This was a few years ago - apparently they had a map of the city with areas indicating where liquefaction was most likely to occur.

The best thing about Finance Minister Bill English\'s latest Budget is that it does finally signal a much greater role for the private sector in the New Zealand economy. And another step along the way to extract this country from the political cul-de-sac in which Helen Clark\'s Labour Government parked us.

Information about the risk of liquefaction in Christchurch has been widely available for many years now.

Here's a link to a publication (possibly "the map" you are referring to) on the Regional Council's website...

http://ecan.govt.nz/publications/General/solid-facts-christchurch-liquefaction.pdf

Additionally, information about the potential risk of liquefaction (with a categorization of low, medium or high) has been included on LIMs (Land Information Memorandum) issued by the Christchurch City Council for nearly 10 years now.

Why don't you take your fucken wowser views and fuck off the planet. I expect anyone who had a gambling problem isn't going to be affected by this lotto donation. If anything, it may have encouraged a few people to stop.

Candice said she had made an average of $700 a night since returning two nights after the February 22 quake.

On her best night she had made $1400, charging $100 for sex or $120 for 30 minutes of "everything".

Candice is Growler's working alias.

"Candice said with the usual Manchester St stomping ground inside the cordon, she had moved to the corner of Manchester St and Bealey Ave."
Candice gets a free advert, in case the boys can't find her new premises.
