It crashed my gfx display drivers all the time, just had to turn off hardware acceleration on the flash settings.

battlelog even says that the flash plugin is disabled, even though the page works perfectly fine

I use Pale Moon, it is a windows optimized version of firefox and I have never had any problems with flash or battlelog. I like it, it seems faster than regular firefox.

So yesterday I downloaded ArmA2 since someone told me it is free now. Spent ~8 hours on the download (1 gig).
Go to install, and it's all "enter CD Key"... and then opens browser to register for one.


FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU


I saw that I can log in with steam. So I go to the steam store and search for ArmA2 free. It comes up.
Takes me to a page that says "demo". Googlefu tells me it's not demo, but actually free version. Stupid choice of words.

Downloading now, won't need CD key, and it's taken 10 mins, 5 to go, and it's a 1.7Gb dl (as opposed ot yesterdays 1 at 8 hours), ROFL.

Thank fuck it's becoming increasingly irrelevant.

It often opens serious security holes in your computer too. Adobe seem to be patching massive security holes every other week, in flash, acrobat and all sorts.

I don't even have flash installed. Battlelog goes "oi, you NEED flash!". I click the cross on the message and carry on. Fuck knows what they use flash for, but it seems to be SERIOUSLY irrelevant.
