I think I played something similar, but it was based on Ancient Rome. I think it was called Caesar. I also enjoyed that very much.

I bought Caesar 4 because of my time with the demo of Caesar 3. It's pretty much the same only 3d.
Good times had.

I got it Rii, i'll probably never play it ever because i'm slack.

Any BNZ customers? Apparently they said you can register your pc when logging in to avoid the netguard bullshit, can't see a single way to do it though. Online banking with bnz is already getting fucking annoying -_-

inb4 waaahhh it's more secure

It's only as secure as the person using it.

Good show, sir! The graphics have held up remarkably well. And it's one of those rare games that is as awesome as I remember it.

Also BNZ here, haven't bothered with that. I get sick of the Netguard BS. It's frustrating when I don't have my wallet on me so I downloaded the BNZ Android app and I use that as I registered my phone and it doesn't require any logging in. Probably a bit dangerous if I lose my cellphone but a quick phone call to BNZ will probably fix that if I ever lost my phone.

What's interesting is when you combine dead animals. Or combine with dead animal stomach mixed with animal lactate of the same species. WTF man, I mean seriously. WHY SO GOOD?

Tomatos are like gods. That shit I can understand. Have tomato, tastes good. Make tomato into liquid with solidified animal lactate and add dead animal. SUDDENLY BETTER. That shit I just do not understand.

Or half of ungrown baby bird (female half). Who decided to put you in their mouth?

Do you have the internet connected at the new place yet? This is always an annoyance (relying on 3G to tide you over can suck).

Tomorrow night you should enjoy eating take-aways in your new lounge.

Hope everything goes smoothly - it's shit when Furniture Movers fuck things up.

Hey Em,

I'm putting my ass into gear with my website (jld).

You're a Wordpress King. Can you point me to some swish, clean cut themes?

And if possible, some HTML 5 integration? I'm after something that has that 'conveyor belt' transition (vertical) when going from page to page.

is that possible in Wordpress? I'm not scared of paying for it.

Why do dead animals taste so good?

What confuses me, is why do raw dead anaimals taste bad, and cooked dead animals taste good?

We didn't evolve to like cooked meat.

LIES!

Beef tataki is god tier.

I think on some level we may have evolved to like cooked meat.

At some stage, when we discovered that cooked meat tastes different, we started eating it more which over time meant our immune systems no longer had to deal with bacteria found in the blood of animals.

I wonder why our ancestors would have switched to cooking meat, the only obvious benefit is taste, so the first time a caveman fried up a steak on the BBQ, it must have already tasted good (otherwise he wouldn't keep on doing it).

Taste is an evolutionly responce to encourage animals to eat things which are good for them, and not eat things which are bad.

Maybe it's just a coincidence that the chemical processes that happen in cooking improve the taste of meat, which already tasted pretty good.

Beef tataki is awesome.

Eating raw meat is actually bad. Cooking meat kills the blood born viruses and bacteria. However when we were cavemen I'm assuming we had immune systems capable of dealing with these, much like most carnivorous animals do (dogs have really good immune response do do the dead rotting shit they eat).

Maybe one day a caveman was nomming on a leg of Mammoth and he got it too close to the fire and realized it tasted different and soon learnt that connection fire/heat has with raw meat.

Cooked meat kills the bacteria.

in steak the cell structure means that (provided the animal isn't diseased) any bacteria that gets on to the meat after the animal is butchered cannot get into the center of the meat, which is why we only cook (and especially in my case) the very outside layer of steak.

the cell structure of chicken is different though, bacteria on the surface of chicken can gain access to the center, meaning that chicken needs to be cooked right through to make sure all the bacteria is eliminated.

A friend of mine works at tegal as a microbiologist, his job is to give chicken meat as many viri and bacteria as possible, then to cook it and see how much is killed, he says that providing the meat is properly cooked, 100% of the bacteria and viri are killed, making it safe for human consumption.

in the case of meat served raw, the meat is usually butchered and transferred in highly sterile environments, making its consumption safe.
