Some form of boot disk like hirens used to have something on it I think?

I use partedmagic to clear the sysvol folder and check for any boot partitions in gpartd when I am installing on a new drive, once checked I unplug the drives, install onto new drive, install and set priorities for boot order in bios as normal and then it works fine. Once in windows I do an ntfs permissions reset to remove any weird permissions from old installation.

Nope, very nice to use, very light, very epic, although expensive I do quite like the mbp hardware and realistically the cost isn't much higher when compared to same spec laptops with all the same features.

I'm not sure if it's the Harmy edit, but there is the Phantom Edit which has all but removed Jar Jar and turned him into a "supporting role" removing 20 minutes of film.

Harmy's Despecialized Edition doesn't just cut out scenes, it re-makes them, edits them to remove all silly animations but still keeping the original scene.

It's Star Wars before Lucas raped them.

Will get it on interest free. Still going to cost 2.6K, but I really like the displays and the resolution, will be a god send when doing dev work. (.NET dev too, hence the bootcamp)

I'm in the Firefall beta, had a go at it 2-3 months ago. Good mechanics, enjoyed it. Just the graphics and gameplay were naff as fuck even more so than any recent beta's I've been in.

That sounds horrendously difficult.

It would be, but I feel there's a need for it.

Game devs have no way of relying on beta testers. They dish out beta codes willy nilly. Most sign up because they just want to see the game and play it for free.

Creating some sort of environment where testers are held to some sort of rating system where the feedback they offer is easily funneled into a system, I believe, would be incredibly helpful.

So  dev looks at a certain user and sees that they have been active and offer good feedback so they will get future beta invites etc. and vice versa.
