Got my new SSD working, no idea what the problem was, but I randomly reset the CMOS (for the third time since installing the SSD) and it just started working.

EDIT: Is the new SimCity going to fail hard? It seems a lot of people are wanting to hate on it, or at least just continue hating on EA (rightly so) but if it is a fun game I will enjoy the shit out of it no matter what.

The new simcity is fun, feels quite unpolished though and the city size is ridiculously tiny

I've heard that the city sizes are way too small, hopefully that is something they will fix up, probably release as a $500 DLC.

I was quite amazed how fast Origin's servers are, maxing out at the best speeds I've seen on my PC.

Pretty damn fun game, can't do much with just an hour, but it's a good preview. Unfortunate that the full release is 2 months away.

I think I played it when it first came out, when ever that was, but I've heard it is much better after being modded.

I'd probably not think it so bad if I gave it a chance, but it's one of those things you gotta be in the mood for and stuff. It's certainly not a quick filler like just about every other game I've played (and enjoyed) recently.
