the always try fry your balls while watching prons.....

they had a funny bios bug that caused the fan to turn off when using internet explorer (dont ask it was a fucking weird thing and the tech couldnt explain it) open IE fans stops close i.e and open it fan runs full tilt for 30 seconds.
but will not run again till reboot or thermal shutdown unless i closed ie and re-opened it and it would run for 30 seconds then stop again.

weird fucking problem, turned out to be a bios bug and something else but got a new one.. this was early last year...

side note so going to hell the video above made me laugh for ages...

I'm expecting the service center I sent it to yesterday to come back and say that there is no mechanical fault, that the overheating happens due to how the laptop is designed.

If this happens, I'm going back to JB-Hifi and asking to be refunded or upgraded to a unit that doesn't overheat at the push of a button. Luckily I did tell the salesperson what I was purchasing the laptop for and he recommended the unit so they should be able to do something for me if the service center can't find a fault.

Hah, nah. Just as a media player plugged into a 32" LCD.

Plays everything great after I had setup MPC. But once it hits 75 - 80.C, video playback turns to ass, audio drops away from the video and shit starts chunking. This even happens when playing web based videos (youtube, red tube, you jizz etc). Not that I have ever watched YouJizz for more than 45 seconds at a time.

Today I bought another pair of new shoes.  Reebok Oly weightlifting shoes. They feel a little tight but I'm told they are meant to be so as I dont slip around when clean and jerking 100kg.

On the rare occasion I do squats, I'll just wear a pair of flats. Keeps you grounded.

Ive got even more stability in these. I was in bare feet for a long time.  Plus im due to compete in 4 weeks at the Crossfit open. Correct footwear is essential to correcting bad form and looking super cool as well.

Also squats are not rare for me. Im doing them every day. Well deads, squats over head, back and front and olympic lifts like the cleans, jerks and snatches. I also like to set PR's whenever I can
