I like Scythes for the price, Slipstreams or S-Flexs are good for the money.

play the CD through speakers, and use a microphone attached to a PC running windows 2000 to record

@spork: exact audio copy

Thanks dudes. I have used foobar for ages to play music, just didn't know it's full capabilities.

And at others, I did try the holding my Zalman clip on mic up to my skull candy speakers while blasting dem tunes but I found that by doing that the audio is just a little bit distorted.

The best thing about Finance Minister Bill English\'s latest Budget is that it does finally signal a much greater role for the private sector in the New Zealand economy. And another step along the way to extract this country from the political cul-de-sac in which Helen Clark\'s Labour Government parked us.

So I drove past this dude a couple of days ago, he was one of those cycle across a country types with all the bags on his bike. By chance he rocked up at our campsite, pretty remarkeable seeing it was about 500ks ago.
First thing he does when he stops is light up a cigarette!

Protip: Get the Sony EX500 series. Don't fall for the LED marketing (unless you want lower power consumption over everything else).
A calibrated Sony EX500 TV is basically the best TV you can get overall picture quality wise scientifically measured, particularly for the cash.
The Sony EX700 series measures better, but it's got brightness evenness issues + reflective screen.
What happened to the TV?

Oh I got called an Asian c*** today. Awesome. F'n retard was riding in an Asian car....

my olds just got a 55" sony, just happens to be the ex500 series.

I was totally under whelmed at its quality. I told them to get a series 6/7 samsung LCD or the new backlit LED for their room. Or to look at a LG. But no, they went for the biggest one they could afford, and now they aint happy with it.

Trust me it's set up right. I just wish you could inject ICC profiles into TVs would make life SOOOOOOOOOO much easier.

I Love the ICC :)

Still have two CRTs (I guess) going strong. Love the depth of picture and sound. Rabbit Ears aerials too, fantastic aesthetics.

*(Adopts Zarkov tone): "too many LCDs in this thread"

Loving the sunshine lately, and the friendly reminders that the Earth is still moving.
Just empty a rubbish bin on the floor and give it a fancy name and attach some wanky statement about it and you're sorted! :)
