Quote from: Menial;1333467Yeah, the thing about sales reps is that they bring in the money.thats true to some point though it comes down to our department on getting the lines connected. no connection no $$$ however shouldnt it be about repeat business and referrals instead of a one off sale from a company that had such a shit experience from rollout that would not refer anyone to us? it seems these guys just care about making target for the month instead of making target that month then the next from repeat business and extra services. that was what i had said to my manager. if i had just said abused nothing would have come of it, its something we deal with week in week out. however this abuse was on a totally different level. if i was someone that had spent days trying to seal a deal and port 17 mobile lines across, i would be pulling all stops to ensure that at least the directors line went through smoothly, to guarantee that when i go to try and win their wired lines and landlines that theyll remember the excellent service they got from the previous encounter

i emailed the rep involved after this and all my email says is:hey dude, just wanted to say thank you for communicating with your customer about this hold up like i asked; i really enjoyed being abused and told to go fuck myself. awesome stuff.that was all.
Oh man, last night was fucking horrible.I woke up in my shower with a bucket of vomit next to me.Then I woke up at 9am and couldnt get back to sleep because my breath smelt so bad, so I had to go brush my teeth, but that wasnt enough.
Not this email, but emails similar to this, are what end up spread across the internet making companies look bad. Your boss cannot afford to have his employees thinking they can reply like that to customers. There really is no reason to deviate from constantly professional emails. If you had a problem with his behaviour you should have emailed his bosses and made an official complaint.
It does wonderous things. Both good, and bad.Today is the first time I've chucked from alcohol in agessss, and last night wasn't even that big a night, I didn't really drink heaps, just vodka mixed with stuff.

I think Fairy said she'd emailed the rep in her own company, rather than the customer. But yes Fairy, regardless of whether the email was internal or external your manager has a duty to the shareholders of the business to pull you up on that email. Down the track if you or even another employee were disciplined/fired for abusive communication or actions, that email could come back to haunt the company as tolerating abuse in the workplace if they havent acted on it. But yeah i hate it when people wont take responsibility for their fuckups and just palm it off onto someone else.
i can understand being reprimanded for having the word fuck in my email, however this apparently wasnt the reason why. I dont see why i need to apologise and i dont have any intentions of apologising.

My partner has 0 tolerance for alcohol, as in one sip of red wine will have her gone. I started giving her shit one day and she explained that it is because of my European lineage and my ancestors constant inclusion of alcohol in their diet that has caused the liver to be more durable over time. My partner is half Japanese and her ancestors and lineage had 0 alcohol in their diet (poor rice farmers).
We have a proud history of binge drinking and lack of sobriety and goddamned if we didn't build an empire
Another time, I had about 3 drinks after not eating anything all day, then felt really tired, so I went to bed in the spare waterbed. Woke up in the middle of the night, freezing cold, to find all my sheets had disappeared. Those four drinks were potent as rather than finding bedding I just fell asleep again, fucking retard. I woke up to discover that my mate had taken all the sheets away from me after he came in to see if I wanted something to eat and discovered that in my sleep I had taken the pillowcase off the pillow and spewed in it, then gone back to sleep on it. Earned the nickname "Pillowcase Pirate".
I have an irishman inside me....
