Dude, get what is yours. The dole is for people like you who need help between jobs. Don't let them make you feel bad about getting what is yours ok.

They have a whole bunch of questions and shit they have to put you through and even though they act like you wont qualify, you will.

Remember the best way to deal with a public employee is to threaten to (or actually) complain to their supervisor. Budget cuts have everyone worry about their jobs.

Also the last thing the government needs is people in genuine need not being able to get the resources they deserve. And middle managers are well aware of what the media can do.

They have decided to keep the job in Auckland instead of outsourcing to Palmy. So not much more I can do. I've now come to not rely on them.

I told her that we discussed that I was a 'hybrid' and I have extensive experience with working on Macs. She just kind of went "ohhhh, hmmm, OK".

Applied for another position this morning at my old workplace.
