Well all I need it for is polytech, where a lot of typing and ebooks are involved. Also need some entertainment on the train which is 2 hours each day. I know nothing about tablets though.

Depends how much typing, ive got used to teh point where I use it for most emails that dont require extensive cutting and pasting from MS office docs. and there are some pretty good BT keyboards out there now for iPad.

it is pretty good, but it takes a bit of geting used to, I use Thisfor notetaking in meetings.

Flew down to Queenstown yesterday to catch up with the family who've been down here on a wee holiday (post-quake).

So we're staying at this fucking golf resort place, full of carrot-up-the-arse aristocrats.
It's pretty good though.

Managed to get thrown off the course today after ripping continous dougheys in the golfcart.

I protested, but apparently rally was not what Bob Charles had in mind :S

^I'm glad, I was in that building on the top level. No damage? Structurally sure but there wasn't one desk standing afterwards. A shame about the cathedral though, was an impressive structure

Tomorrow will be a long day -_- apparently I have to wait till at least monday to get possible access to seeing if my cars alive :/ I wonder if they're towing the cars out of buildings too
