Hmm, my Gmail account was hacked last night, and what ever did it tried to send out an email to all of my contacts with what I presume is a dodgy web link.

By 'hacked' you mean you clicked one of those dodgy links. :p

Well when I woke up, I tried to access my account through my phone and it said that the password or email was wrong, then I jumped on my PC it told me that I had to verify my account (which was bloody annoying, as it refused to send out the verification text message until I pressed the button a million times).

Then once I got past there I was faced by a page telling me that 'suspicious activity' had been noticed on my account in the last twelve hours and I had to change my password.

Then when I logged in there was a whole load of failed messages which had been attempted to be sent from my account, and all of them were exactly the same with some dodgy link in them. Sent to all of my contacts.

And this too.

I didn't visit any new sites yesterday compared to any other day. But yea, of course I don't mean some hacker purposely tracked me down just to access my Gmail account.
