Got a random question, hopefully someone here will know.

I have a batch file. It runs fine in cmd prompt (like going to the folder, and typing batch.bat), but running it straight from windows, it doesn't work.

Here is the script
Code: [Select]
FOR /F "tokens=1,2* delims=-" %%i in ('dir /b /a *.avi *.mkv') do (
FOR /F "tokens=1 delims=x" %%f in ("%%j") do (
SET tpath=%%i
SET season=Season%%f
)
@echo %%i-%%j-%%k
IF NOT EXIST D:\TV\"%tpath:~0,-1%"\"%season%" (md D:\TV\"%tpath:~0,-1%"\"%season%")
MOVE /-Y "%%i-%%j-%%k" D:\TV\"%tpath:~0,-1%"\"%season%"
)
pause

Prolly 'cos windoze can be stupid at times.

Create a shortcut to it - use the command line 'cmd /c <path>\batch.bat' to run it from teh gui, with the appropriate directories set......

So anyway, flatmate has rung Slingshot a few times now.

Twice he's asked for a central splitter to be installed. Twice the retard had no clue what a central splitter is. It's now been well over a month and we've heard nothing.

He's rung up and asked for a line test to be done.
The guy simply flat out refused to do one.

Recently, he took the option for the call center to ring him back in the same day. They did not. Instead, they ring us up at 8am on a Saturday morning.

Cheers for that, but the whole script seems to have stopped working. Not to mention, it doesn't seem to be able to update the variables every loop. I have given up on it for the time being. Might try again in something like c#.

^epic
Just drove eight and a half hours from streaky bay and have arrived in sporkland (also known as Adelaide).

That's not entirely true. I haven't seen many Sporks and I've been living here my whole life.

Bee Tee Double You, how was the Nullabor Plain, I've heard it's flat?

It shall be renamed Scuunnersporksville to even the slate.
The Nulabor is one long flat empty place. It's truly amazing just how much nothing there is, just miles and miles of flat land without a sign of life. Made me feel like the world was massive again.
On a side note, the South coast of WA is freeking amazing. Walpole to Esperence is an epic drive.

If only everything ran in linux. Then i would happily switch. Unless you mean running bash on windows.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

TradeMe is NZ's 4chan, I fucking swear.

Just had some dipshit blacklisted and his questions removed because he was spamming stupid auction numbers complaining the price I was asking for was too high on my auction.

Then some silly bitch comes along and asks for the item $200 below reserve.

Fuck off you idiots, just fuck off.

OMFG. The same person has asked what my reserve is on another auction where the starting bid is the reserve.

I can hazard a guess that this person also regularly walks into a $2 and asks "hi, how much for this".

Either that or codesex is trolling me.
