Dude life doesn't end if you miss out on something, you will either find a way to make it work or move on to something else.

Unless you dwell on it and don't get on with something that _is_ workable.

Tbh some of the best things that have happened for me have been because something fell through.

But yeah I remember how scary it was waiting to find out if I'd got into the course I wanted. And the fuckers were the last ones to let me know too

I remember the day we bought our $2000 windows 98 computer which had a pentium 2 processor (400mhz) It could even handle Half Life 1 (big deal)

The day later my dad bought me "Jump Start Typing Adventure" and I instantly fell in love with computers, thanks, Dad!

I used to play the typing tutor game. It was a dos application that ran in windows 3.1 (not to be confused with windows 3.11 for workgroups), on our 386.

It was like space invaders, but instead of shooting at them, you had to type the bomb (it was a letter) before it hit the ground. It got harder by adding more and more letters, and dropping them faster (and more of them).
