I uploaded a short clip from How I met your mother in an attempt to find a song.. Which as it turns out, was written specifically for the show.

Why didn't you just shazam it?

[19:52:48] You know it's been a long day when:
[19:52:57] You pull out a plastic bag and try to dry the dishes with it.
[19:52:59] Real talk.

The best thing about Finance Minister Bill English\'s latest Budget is that it does finally signal a much greater role for the private sector in the New Zealand economy. And another step along the way to extract this country from the political cul-de-sac in which Helen Clark\'s Labour Government parked us.

GF keeps trying to feed me tablets.
No tablet exists to kill the flu faster. Only to relieve symptoms like fever... which I don't have.

At worst just a mild temperature. aches, sore throat, etc. Headaches from congested sinuses and things, and sleepy all the time!
Hooray for sitting it out. Went to work yesterday, got worse overnight and took the day off. Woke up 2 hours ago, sleepy again already, lol.
Hope this doesn't last long, We're under the pump at work!

Lucky SOB.

Tried to take the day off yesterday. Got denied and have subsequently gotten worse.

Almost fell off my bike on the way to work.

Golf? It's ok, i'm off for a round soon. You doods should get out in the fresh air more often - i haven't had the flu in years.

I spend a reasonable amount of time in the fresh air.

I prefer to get sick once or twice a year. Keeps the immune system current. I just wish that I could be given the chance to properly recover from it, instead of coming into work and coughing everywhere.

Don't vacuum, have dirt and dust lying around, drink alcohol regularly, smoke roll your owns and rarely wash your hands and you will find that the 'flu leaves you well alone...immune system is working perfectly.
Too many people obsessed with cleanliness, only to have it bite them on the bum.

Get well soon, ladies.

Recycle your red poppies, paint them white, and wear them throughout the year.

Another product worth having bebe

Bacon jam - spread the word
Bored with marmalade, fed-up with chocolate spread? Then have a big  breakfast all in one go by spreading your morning toast with bacon jam.  The new barbecue-type preserve is made with smoked bacon, red onion,  coffee, balsamic vinegar, garlic, spice - and whisky. The first batch of  more than 200 jars - costing £3.75 ($7) for 200g - sold out quickly at  the grocery in Walthamstow, East London, where it was launched. Store  co-owner Chris O'Connor, who developed the jam, said: "We've always sold  homemade jam and crispy bacon so we thought we'd put the two together."  His business partner, James Brundle, said: "We really think it will  take off ... it's just getting people to try it." The jam will go on  sale across London next month and, if it's a hit, will be launched  UK-wide. (Source: Newslite.tv)

I just realised Russia and the USA are neighbouring countries for the first time. Wow. I might as well be from Texas.
