Orcon have publicly stated they do not segregate, and Bigpipe is unlimited only (and I have a connection with them back in welly and have never seen any degraded performance, even during peak, it's mint as). Plus Snap have had some fairly well documented issues with staffing (or lack there of), IPV6/CDN issues, DDOS issues (I could go on) lately, leading to lots of negative press.

That being said I still find work's corporate snap connection and xsannz's snap connection pretty good most of the time.

Just to be clear I wasn't having a go at Snap or Jonty, just pointing out that Snap is not necessarily gods gift to ISP's, and that unlimited of today is NOT the go large or bigtime of years gone past.

I don't think there is currently any ISP in the market that is "The best" currently.

Personally I think that depending on your needs one of these three is the ISP to goto:
Bigpipe (unlimited, cheap, limited support so need smarts, xDSL only)
Orcon (unlimited, not quite so cheap, "proper" support, offers xDSL and fibre)
Snap (capped, reasonable prices compare to other capped offerings, offers xDSL and fibre, has had some issues lately which have tarnished it's once shiny halo a fair bit)

Also FWIW, I don't care if they sponsor GetSome, Vodafone have destroyed pretty much everything that was good about TelstraClear, and putting the price of HFC Cable _UP_ on the new plans was an act so brazenly greedy I am unlikely to do business with them again for a long long time.

Snap is the only company to EVER call me back after requesting a fix on my line to let me know it's done, and see if the problem was resolved  (I didn't even ask for such a service).

Personally prefer LED over Plasma, it's a personal preference thing though. Go look at both and see how you feel with either. Take in a flash drive with some test images or something if you want to see the difference

Someone asked about plasmas a few months ago.

Plasmas have to have a glass front, and for whatever reason it can't be matte. So it's shiny.

In anything but absolute darkness you will see a reflection of yourself, and you might say on here now "oh yeah but I'm going to point it away from the windows" or "it can't be that bad"
