The animals at Auckland Zoo are boring.

They think they're better than other zoo animals. They're usually arrogant, have short tempers and are always asking for other animals food even though the other animals have nothing to do with Auckland Zoo.

So, a new Irish chick started a work. She's not hot looking, but that accent... It got me thinking, on the basis of accent alone, how many points does it increase the "hot factor" for you.

Simply put, I can definitely say the following accents add or subtract to my hot rating:

English: 0.5 - 1
Irish: 1 - 2
Scottish: 1 - 2
Welsh: 0 - 1
French: 0 - 1
German: -1 - 0
Dutch: -1 - 0
South African: -2 - -1
Australian: -1 - 1


So the range is because frankly you can get a hot Australian, with a shit awful annoying voice. But in general, even an ugly Irish bird talking is kinda awesome. She could be a solid 5, but with an awesome accent, you might be tempted to go out for a night or two - right?

I put a huge emphasis on voice.

A smooth, feminine, sexy voice can be the tipping point for how attractive a female can be (for me).

Went out with a cute South African chick a few weeks back. Quite pretty, but her voice (not because of her slight accent) was nails on a chalk board to me and probably why I don't find a lot of kiwi women attractive is because they usually have a whiny inflection to their voice. I am sometimes embarrassed by my own kiwi accent because we slur so much. I actually avoid the typical kiwi pronunciation in certain words because it makes me feel like I'm a certified retard when I catch myself saying "ackshilly (actually) or YooChoob.

Before that I went out a few times with a Londoner, she sounded devine, but she trash-talked my lifting game so I bailed.

And so long as I'm being judgemental and somewhat chauvinistic towards women, WTF is with women shit-talking their partners when they're not around? It's pathetic. I seem to hear it a LOT more amongst women than I do with any of my guy mates.
