I think we need to talk about on3network in a manner that google thinks we're actually being constructive.

Repeatedly spamming 'on3network' will push us to the bottom of the heap.

The computer games at on3 network was really great, I really enjoy playing Call of Duty and DOTA 2.

World of Warcraft was never really that great but I think Get Some is much better than on3network.

I agree with Pyro, I think the previous "crew" have progressed a bit and the demise of the popular games we all cherished in to shitty ongoing remakes of shit means we're all doing other things. I play Hearthstone, Ingress (if you call it playing Ingress), and the odd FPS, but most of my time is spent trying to help the gaming industry more. From this perspective, once this LAN is done, I'll be looking to help with other LANs and make sure Get Some has article, podcast and video type stuff happening. I enjoy that side of things more than the liaising with industry people who are essentially hamstrung by virtue of the fact the Oceanic or Asia Pacific region is not worthy enough from a profitability perspective for money to come to gaming events, tournaments or other related activity in NZ. I don't say this in a negative or pessimistic way, I say this from over 8 years experience of dealing with and observing industry people through the period of growth of eSport as we have just seen.

I could rant for ages, but ultimately, myself and the 4 other dudes who bring this site and other related stuff to you do this out of passion and no income whatsoever for it. We want it to be the best it can be, and we want to provide facility for gamers - it may not be for you lot who regularly contribute to this thread, but it's you lot who I have on Facebook, and indeed call friends through out like mindedness. This LAN I look forward to as a catch up of all you fuckers. And if anyone doesn't show, I'll be mad. Like th3fairy mad. And she gets mad. So I'll be mad.

Uninstalled a bunch of games, inc BF4.

Was spending waaaaay too much time playing and not enough doing study/getting shit done so chopped it.

It's only 4 months till I'm finished with uni and can spend my time as I please.

I live out of a netbook now, so big time gaming is pretty much a no no. But that's ok because modern games are bollocks as mentioned.
I can play some indy things, and that's ok. Although gotta be carfeful with purchases.

Mostly I don't fuck around pseudo investing in nostalgia. I go right to the source and play old games. Because netbook, and actually fun, and stuff.
Hitman, Commandos, Quake, sim city 2000, etc.
Time allowing.

But can even play Banished, so that's a bonus. Although the time factor... pretty much leaves that on the wayside.
