Lvl 13. Mars just opened up, got a sweet auto-rfile that spits out 60 rounds in a couple of seconds which at lvl 13, makes it a HELL of a lot easier to take out the Kabal (not sure how to spell it - big, 800 pound Space Warrior lookin' dudes).

Couple of drawbacks, the no-spawn zones that have an onslaught of enemies and then topped off by a boss of some sort are brutal when you're not in a fire-team.

The story doesn't progress your levels in tandem with the difficulty. I've found myself repeating missions so I can grind and that still puts me (on average) 1 level below what is usually recommended per mission.

This game is worth so much more than the reviews it's getting. I love it. Even on a 360, the visuals and audio are impressive. Will be repurchasing when I get an Xbox One at some stage.

I'm at lvl 18 and I haven't reached Mars yet. I've been doing Patrols for Bounties plus the Earth and Moon Strikes and multiplayer in the Crucible. That seems to keep me well ahead of the level curve.

This game is worth so much more than the reviews it's getting. I love it. Even on a 360, the visuals and audio are impressive. Will be repurchasing when I get an Xbox One at some stage.

I'm enjoying the game but I agree with the reviews. At it's core the gameplay is fun and it has amazing visuals and audio, but outside of that it does a lot of things wrong. Like, they've built these beautiful worlds but there is very little story being told in them and what there is is just a collection of poorly written science fiction clichés.
