Try justfairings.co.nz

I have dealt with they guy a few times and he is reasonably priced for fibre glass moulded fairings.

Yeah I have a quote from billy :)

Yeah my day was ok, I was happy about the laptime i got down to. Sorry i didn't get a chance to catch up, I didn't even know you crashed! Hope its not too bad. Get back on it asap.
You may need to go a little firmer in the rear perhaps to stop the tearing? Do you know what rider sag you are running?

I am heading to Levels this weekend for a have a go day. forecast looks shit. wicked.

Soon the Munro challenge will be upon us......

My morning was flat stick, on top of being super tired (flatmates had a party - assholes) I got to the track to find my battery was dead, motobat fail :( so i had to drive like a mad man in to work to get another, somehow I got back, got the battery in (on the r6 it's a bitch cause it's UNDER the tank hinge - amazing idea) got my gear on, got the bike and tyres warmed up with like 10 minutes to suck on some fluids before practise!

I really need to get some reading material and study it, but at the moment my brain is a bit over study.

Did oil and filter change on the Stagea. After washed and dried. Still looking nice, waxed last week.

Decided to start doing the repair to my defog conduction strip thingermajigers (official name, check that shit) as the PO had tint on, when it was removed (Not by me) they went brutal and ripped half of the fucking conduction stuff with it so my demist on the back window is pathetically weak and takes 20-30 minutes to actually do anything useful.

Masking it up:

Close up what the damage looks like, it's all over the entire pattern.

The conductive stuff you paint on to make it awesome again, get it at jaycar for like 15 bucks:

Mount like 14 of these pointing at your rear window.

Also doubles as a "you're too close behind me if your car bursts into flames" device.

Today I started receiving parts!

I got the handle bars, new grips, new clutch lever, new LH slider, and new swingarm bobbins.

The lever, and handle bars are on roughly where they use to be, still waiting on parts from the US before I start doing the throttle side, and I need an easy out to get a broken bolt out of the swingarm for the bobbins, and also a fucking big bar to bend the crash bung back so I can get the new one in.

Still to come:
Top fairing mount
Front master cylinder and reservoir
Throttle parts
Fairings
New steering damper mount.

nah it's broken off about 2 or 3mm in, tried an easy out, but fucked up the hole and it's A skewed and B off center.

might just get it spark eroded out.

cunts fucked.

or just have it cut off and a new one welded on.

installed the aftermarket racey top fairing mount from kevin at racesupplies!

it also has a handy sticker incase i forget what my bike is!

also found the air pressure sensor hanging out, with a broken sleeve ( i assume the sleeve is to reduce the venturi effect) it may have been the cause of a intermittent miss and/or bogging down low in the revs buuut it's another $50 USD....

Today I finally got around to pulling apart to bbod and cleaning it all out to discover the previous owner has capped the lines going to the supercharged pressure relief valve #1 solenoid. Not sure what this would have achieved but got some new vacuum hose and after testing the solenoid works correctly plumbed it back up.

Upon cleaning everything out I had a boat load of oil sludge build up in exhaust gas control valve duty solenoid :/

Cleaned it all out and every other solenoid line cleaned out too. Running a lot nicer now :) although this hasn't fixed the source of the problem, how oil is getting in there -_-

I'd say it's coming from some form of oil leak.....

This fuckin' piece of fuckin' cunt fuckin' shit fuckin' wanker asshole fuckin' cunt wanker shit fuck wank cunt mother fucker shit fucker cunt face fuckitty fucker shit fuck broke off in my swing arm, it smeared it's high tensile steel into the ally, when I drilled it out from the top the bit walked and you can see I missed and collected some swing arm, then I removed the wheel and drilled it from the other side, using a screw driver, a nail punch, a hammer and a third of a car of 5.56 I got the cunt out.

Now I'll need to tidy up the thread.....

Something i found nice to do on the dash, is to use cutting compound across the plastic cover. Make it really nice and clear, so it almost looks like you dont have a plastic cover.

water blasted the Rover V8 I have for a coffee table, did fuck all for the rust/oxide/slag but got a lot of the rust/gorse/spiders off it.

I think there was a dead bird under the alternator.

Also started on my garage/workshop/shed of manhood.
