got the car back from the mechanic - new alternator, transmission fluids and front headlights - alternator was putting out 21V - cars dont like that if they arent electric. (transmission fluid was because they had to drop a drive shaft out to get to the alternator)

Tonight I pulled off one exhaust down pipey thing (what do they call these on a car?), Altenator, starter motor, fly wheel, flywheel housing/adaptor plate, sump, and the carbs/air intakes.

pulled off the cover over the push rods, there was so much creepy looking spider webs and dead spiders in there, with the push rods and things, it looked like a scene from aliens aye, was a bit creepy, so I blasted it with 5.56 and yelled "GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER!"

I started on the exhaust on the other side, snapped the head off one bolt, then snapped my 14mm spanner on the next bolt......I knew this would happen which is why I used my cheese spanners and sockets, glad I didn't use my nicer tools, cause the ratchet is pretty fucked now lol.

I'll start a thread for the V8 and post some pics in the am, it's too dark in my garage at the moment (hoping to fix that this weekend)

Knew what C4 was, thought D4 was a kiwi band over appreciated in asia, under appreciated in NZ, but either way I still don't....quite....follow what this has to do, with, my garage/workshop?

Cause I'm not going to blow anything up to get a workshop, unless pieces of exploded things happen to land in the exact shape I want my workshop, and I dont understand how a giant pussy cat is going to make my workshop either?

I'm making a joke about you starting work on your garage/workshop/shed of manhood and that in order to do so you will have to do manly things like clear it with C4 or level it or clean it out with a D4.

The fact that you can't recognise a genuine piece of iconic earth moving machinery does make me wonder about said manhood though!

(Don't worry, I'm just pulling yer chain! Although how you get pussy cat from Caterpillar is anyone's guess!)

few weeks ago girlfriends gn250 started running like shit, bogging down and missing, refusing to start, stalling under load.

Oil change, still running like shit.

spark plug change, needed it, starts and idles much better, doesn't stall under load, but still stutters and bogs down.

Pulled carb apart, cleaned out some shit, not enough to big it though.

Pulled fuel tap/fuel filter apart, cleaned out so much shit.

Boom running sweet again!

Also started phase one of the garage, gave it a tidy, moved the benches around, got an idea of the amount of space I will have.

We build the workbench this weekend!!!
