Steel Sky, Return to Zork, Wing Commander, ET's Rugby League, Kens Labrinth, Ironman, Golden Axe, Leisuresuit Larry, Sim City, Recoil(prob my all time favourite game wish they had made a new version of this) all took many hours of my childhood from me
Hell yes Recoil is AWESOME!Drifting the BFT while shooting flaming death at Robots = epic Win!

Star Control 2. So many hours sunk into that game. Loved all the quirky races, great story and epic exploration.
In my youth, I read a book a day.

Another great game was a robot fighting game called OMF ... one must fall http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Must_Fall:_2097
So I jump on Reddit and what do I findTheres a fan made sequel out :O
I also can't believe no one has mentioned Cannon Fodder or Cannon Fodder 2?
What about dig dug... or am i showing my age....żż
Oh and pagan ultima iv [not online]there are some older ones from when we had an ibm xt that were text files with moving characters for various symbols like a dungeon scroller turn based but dont rememember the name
Between this and the fan remake of Descent, and the remake of Star Trek: Birth of the Federation, this may end up being a great year in Retro Gaming History. My classmate did a Cannon Fodder review for his game development assignment.....holy crap *goes off to make a Java remake*Ultima IV was crazy. So big, so many things you could do, and so many ways to die.And did you mean Rogue?
