there is a bug where the sound of flies stick around. the actual body becomes unlootable after about 20ish minutes i think

yeah they can, or you can wait till server restart. Only way they break is if you bike them into water.

Had a hatchback explode in a field over a week ago it disappeared for a week or so. Seems it re spawned in the same place. Instead of its original spawn

I got DayZ installed and working today played for a hour or so on server 7 worked out some controls got eaten by zombies wandered arouns the outskirts of a town found a pistol and then got murdered, but I think I took one with me his name was Ryan I think.
I'll play some more later tonight.

I learned the hard way last night; Shoot first if you don't recognise the name tag. There are no friendlies.

Also, can someone please summarise the difference between veteran and regular on the GetSome servers?

No Name tags on Vet, Map doesn't show player locations on Vent (both compared to Reg). That's all I've noticed so far.

And then there's side channels. Direct, Group and Vehicle on Vet.

Awesome. Cheers man, now another nooby question, My survivor seems to be shaking in 1st person mode. Makes it hard to aim. No broken bones or pain or anything. Well fed and watered. Only thing is blood is down to 11k Would this be it? Its pretty punishing if it is.

I often get that even right from when I first spawn, but taking pain killers does seem to kill the shakes.

Everyone just died on the server(cant remember which number, kill3r was on maybe he knows) something happened we all fell. Was going well for my third character had managed to stay alive, scavenged a sweet m24 and a revolver was getting more confidant. Definitely enjoying this game, I can see me sinking many hours into it.

NZ8, got out just in time. They killed my mate first who had most kills on server, he just dropped dead

just had some lols (on NZ7 I think), me and 3 other newbies found an abandoned chopper and managed to fly around a bit then crash or something. Interesting start. See what happens next. I also learnt how to chat to people properly. Now I just got to get my voip working.
