yea I knew that they had designed the map on the real like location, but I was surprised with the level of detail and that they had used actual real life buildings, like that giant red warehouse is missing the same panels as in the game and that barn with the green sliding door. I had thought they would have designed their own buildings and kept the look of the local region. Good to see the level of detail they went into.

Very nice find, pretty awesome, like how they made the south a coast instead of the river but fuck you berezino I have died there more than anywhere else. The last Zub pic is cool, even ruins get in, if the standalone is based off arm3 and has a nice interface this will be the game of the year imo.

stand alone will be based on an "improved" arma 2 engine.  If it was running off arma 3 engine it would be great.

Yea, I think there is also a lot less hacks now that the pricks have killed off all popularity of the game.

I haven't really looked into this game, if you pay $50 you get $30 in game currency (basically makes me say fuck this game) and you also get 6 months "stronghold map server hosting"
so its pay to play..

Fucking hacker pricks. This game is so damn awesome, and I'm sure it'd still be quite popular if it wasn't for the knob jockeys coming along and spoiling the fun for everyone.

Instead of shit crap DRM, game devs need to invent a system where if you hack then all your personal details get posted online so people can hunt you down for being such a cnut.

Just went on NZ19 up NE airfield.
a helo, Ural, ATV, Pickup all parked up at the control tower.
10 shots from the hill and 10 headshots later, i go looting.

all of them in ghillie's
all had AS50's
all had SVD Camo's
allhad L85's
all had every piece of equipment including radios...

i fear they will be back to hunt me :S so i log off and call it a night.....
p.s. all bodies hidden and only 2 x nato rounds taken and 1 radio :)

pre orderd war z i bet there will be less hackers and by the game play vids its a lot more polished. and there is no sub-fee

Having a bit of a look at some War Z gameplay videos, it does seem fairly decent. It definitely gets its inspiration from Dead Island and Day Z, but that doesn't make it a bad game. If it's polished up it could be quite a good game.

War Z definitely does look like a lot of fun and there is no reason to keep playing Day Z unless you're a stubborn midget who likes getting angry.

Well then you don't know shit apparently. WarZ devs claim that they have been developing WarZ since last year which is a complete lie, they were developing another game called WarInc. If you believe them you're an gullible idiot.

They only registered the warz www in June 2012, there was no mention of it anywhere when they claimed to be developing it. They are liars, they were developing something else and then created WarZ after DayZ's success.
