I tried it for a couple of hours - but TBH if I wanted a game where I could walk around aimlessley for 10-20 minutes without seeing or doing anything - I'd play WOW
Maybe he warped to a low pop continent but yes, join a squad, hit escape, hit redeploy, pick the spawn position or as above, instant action (it is so easy to understand where action is or isn't) and you will find yourself in much more shit than you ever did in BF.
There's always something reasonably epic going on somewhere on Indar. At times there are many epic battles across the whole continent. The alerts (2 hours long) seem to be well received too with a lot of outfits and individuals competing.Best to pick a reasonable outfit if you want real teamwork in the epic parts although lone wolfing (when you know what you're doing) can be very rewarding. Most nubs roll with NC when starting
I am well into the battlefields, but didnt really like ps2. Played it with a bunch of clanners so had teamworks and shit, but found the pace of the game too slow. Plus with huge numbers its impossible to make a huge difference as one player. I often found battles would result in the faction with more players in a certain area winning because of their superior numbers, rather than individual skill, teamwork ability or class selection.
I didn't play BF42 - I was kinda on a hiatus from gaming and missed 1942, BF2 etc - I only got back into FPS when BC2 came out
E3 struck.By the way, you can bring down skyscrapers....
Scripted in Sp only.....
wonder if they will let you load a vehicle up with C4 and drive it to the base of a big building and detonate aka twin towers 1993? Might be a little realistic.
Apparently in-game VOIP is confirmed. And, DICE said no to modding support.. Bastards!
That would make sense if they didn't start working on the DLC before the game even comes out.Charging a significant sum for maps has always pissed me off, I remember when Halo started selling map-packs for like $15 to Xbox players and the PC community was laughing at their stupidity.
