Apple has aggressive rollout plans for the newest iPhone. Nine countries are now selling the iPhone 5, and that will grow to more than 100 by the end of the year.
Colin Gillis, a technology analyst at BTIG in New York, said: "On any metric, this is a success. It's one million more units than last time. But this is Apple, and given the expectations on this company, they have to not just set records – they have to smash them."
Gillis said smartphone sales in general were slowing and that Apple had already conceded that sales of iPhone 4Ss had been hit as customers put off buying them in anticipation of the next release.
Apple had been expected to sell 25m iPhones in the September quarter and Gillis said the company could now miss that. "Quite frankly, a lot of people have smartphones already. The market is slowing down," he said. best buy iphone 4 cases

The Iphone still has a far better app store than the android, but in saying that the Android OS is better..... I still like the size of the iphone better than the s3, s3 too big to hold, iphone 5 you can still hold it nicely with one hand, fits well in pockets etc and the size of the screen is all you need.

Think I'd still go for the Iphone over Android only because of the App store and the size of the phone. If this phone was running Android with the Iphone App store it would be a match made in heaven

Na bro, Android way better, you can do more with it. At the end of the day its a menu structure with icons and with Android there is alot more customization and not to mention how open it is to access anything.....

There may be alot more apps on the play store but most of them are all rubbish compared to the Apple ones.

At the end of the day, I like the phone, but I havent really done much with it different to what I have done on my iPhone4. I have mates with SIII's and other android devices and they like them fine.

Having just played with an i5 in store I will not be getting one. Did not wow me like i4 did. Screen looked weird. Rest of phone was basically an i4. Did not seem much faster than my 4S. Felt too light, like a Samsung.

But the overriding factor is that a jailbreak will not be available for at least many months.

An iPhone without a jailbreak is a piece of useless shit.
