Is that a contract swindle?

My VF smart1 contract is $44 p/month for 3GB, 2500sms, 1000pxt, and 60 mins. Is pretty mean but hardly use any of it, my cycle ends in 2 days and using the V/F app to check balances i've used 6 pxts, 30mins, 151 sms, and 416MB.

I'm on the $59 per month. 1.1GB, 460mins and 2500 texts.

IMO the $39 per month is best in value.

I would say go 2deg (to mcc), $19 gets your 600mb (+ 30 min talk,300 text), or $20 for 1GB.

so probably mentioned in the previous pages but I do find it retarded that Vodafone has the distribution rights to the iphone 5 in NZ and wont let you buy one with signing up to a 2 year plan

2,000 in staff riot at iPhone's Chinese 'sweatshop' factory after 'guard beats up worker'

A riot involving 2,000 workers broke out at an Apple factory in China, leaving 40 people injured.

More than 5,000 police were reportedly sent to bring the riot at the Foxconn factory in the northern city of Taiyuan in the Shanxi province of China until control after trouble erupted in workers' sleeping quarters yesterday.

Comments on Chinese internet bulletin boards said the trouble may have been sparked by a security guard hitting an employee and not related to the recent anti-Japan protests.

In a statement, the Taiwanese-owned company said: 'A personal dispute between several employees escalated into an incident involving some 2,000 workers at approximately 11pm last night in a privately-managed dormitory.'

And I have heard coverage isn't as good. Telecom seem to have the best coverage, even within Auckland I have had areas with very little to no vodafone coverage, while others have had full 3G on Telecom.

Conversely Telecom coverage at my parents old place was non-existant but VF/2d was perfect, subsequently they both switched to VF. My bedroom gets full signal whilst my toilet 1 bar, very disappointing.

That calls for 2 sims definitely - 30% of usage is done from the toilet

Had a 2 hour training with the iPhone 5 today - pretty lack luster tbh. Its remarkably lighter now but nothing else really appealed. I might wait and see if Samsung or Nokia want to give me another free phone to 'test' for them in the future. The Lumia 920 is looking pretty good.

Need to make money somehow... Why sell iPhones outright and only make a $20 profit...

Let's say you owned a franchise off Vodafone, you got in an allocation of 20 phones, you make $20 profit with an outright purchased compared to profit and percentage of ongoing plan cost from the customer that signs up to a plan. Who would you want to sell it to?

Obviously after the launch customer would be able to buy outright....

Lack of locations?

Most cities you'll be on their towers (which raped the speed provided by vodafone and telecom as I tested)

When roaming on other networks the data you have bought on your plan is used still, there's no seperate roaming data unless you're prepaid
