I'll be keen. As long as they have one huge map and when you finish it, there are no further huge maps to then start from scratch on.

I'd give this one a shot Farcry 2 had so much potential but they ruined it with a couple of really bad features.

well i'm pretty pissed off with it at the moment.

takes ages to install and has uplay bullshit.

Also froze up on me after the 1st chapter bit (the bit where you crouch every where). So I have to do that again.

And you can't fucking skip cut scenes!

Yep. Got it working.

I was running DX11 High.

Try running the game in DX9 but it would get really laggy, 1-2FPS and sound would start and stop.

Had to run the game in DX11 Low to get it to load pass the first level.

I had a similar problem. The game crashed at the end of the first part when you're escaping. Tried it again without changing the settings and it worked. So yay for me.

FryCry3 has to be one of the best games of 2012. Its really that good, the best sandbox game Ive hooned anyway, its massive.

Just bought it today on PS3 (herpderpconsoleetc.) but my laptop is a POS, not designed for gaming. So keen for a play after some aviation meteorology study. Maybe I should install it now..

Yeah I play via PS3 as well, nothing wrong with it & my mates can co-op easily as well. I ditched my desktop for this laptop (i7 1.5gb Gpu blah blah) but I prefer to crank to old PS3 now for games. Theres no bad and good, just have fun :)

The amount of popularity this has gained in such a short time, they'd be stupid to just leave it at that. It's only $18 on Steam and roughly 3GB in size so it's only going to be a short game.

Hope to fuck they make more DLC or even a full fledged game out of the universe, looks mind blowing.
