Should have got a car.
Actually the accidnet is just an excuse ...I actuallly broke my ankle climbing off your mum.
You seem to be confused, my mother is not a motorcycle.
In all srsness, if you had a car this would have been avoided.
I understand you guys like doing this whole bike thing. It makes you feel cool and all. But is the heightened risk of injury, disability or even death really worth it?
Risk of injury, and seriousness of said injury, while riding a motorcycle is much higher than that of driving a car. Ever wonder why ACC premiums are so much higher?Sure you could have broken your ankle while doing any number of normal daily tasks, however the risk of this is significantly lower than it happening while riding a motorcycle. b. Like rugby? more acc claims for rugby injuries than any other in NZ, even pleasure boating is more deadly than motorcycling.
Even as a proportional percentage of players to injuries? Link?I mountain bike. Which the thread has said is apparently risky. However there are things I do to reduce risk of serious injury. I would never road bike, as IMO there is too much potential for serious injury. I agree that car drivers do cause a lot of trouble for both motorcyclists, and cyclists with awesome legs as their motor. However this is because of the retarded mentality all NZ drivers seem to have that they own the road and its for them only.If I could road bike with no cars, I would, as a significant proportion of the risk would be removed. Can you motorbike without cars, yes, on a track, you can also go as fast as you like. Why not save biking for the track only, reducing the risk of you getting injured by a car, or cat. Sounds pretty reasonable to me. Everyone knows roads are unsafe, yet people are more afraid of flying than driving. Its fine to have risk in your life, but mitigating it to ensure your own survival, and high quality of life, is also very important.
