Feels sluggish. Like bf4 with worse textures, the same sounds and mouse sensitivity dropped down/moving through marshmallow.

Getting 15 - 20 fps, doesn't seem to make much difference fps wise between ultra and low. Sure looks better on ultra though.



Seeing all sorts of names popping out of the woodwork though, nice!

* Getting 50-60FPS on High @ 1920x1200 with the Battlescreen off.  With it on, drops to 25-30FPS.  (GTX670, i5 2500k@4ghz)
* Textures in some places are fugly.  I wonder if they've used low textures to save space in Beta?
* CPU usage seems a lot higher than BF3 - 90% utilisation
* Lots of lag, a few crashes, but better than I remember the BF3 beta.

Meh. Its ok. Not super awesome, but not super bad, just ok.

Shooting wise, guns do more damage (so take less hits to kill), but are harder to get hits with (more recoil).
Movement is a bit stuffed though, feels like moving through mud.

Everything on ultra with resolution scaling at 100, I get a constant 60fps with an i5 3570K @4.5GHz and a 7970 @1100/1475. If I turn the resolution scaling up to 200 though, the fps drops down to 15-20.

So far I'm rather liking it, feels different, but in a good way. Don't regret pre-ordering(thank-fuck)

Imo I find the weapons(only used the AK-12 and MX4) have next to no recoil whatsoever. Even at long range I can go full-auto and get a headshot and sustain hits.

I like it, the Weapons feel more solid - the first shot goes where I want it to but the RoF feels good. The Heli's cannon felt a bit weak Vs Inf (took bout 5-10 shots to kill an inf) and the reload seemed to take forever.

The hummers and the tanks turret gun feels better - more in line with BC2 - the turret guns in Bf3 have always felt weak and underpowered IMO, whereas in BC2 they felt just right. I have a few issues to work out with setup, etc. but overall it feels good.

Ran better then BF3 beta for me that's for sure. No major lags unless it was server based. Game generally ran pretty smooth for me on a 2500k @ 4.4 and 6950 @ 6970.

More polished than BF3 was, I like how they have included rooftops etc as part of the game/objective.

5 man squads!, easier to see objectives!

I definitely felt I was CPU limited more than GFX limited (Phenomomom II x4 955 @ 3.6GHz, 8GB ram, HD6970 2GB)

The cover system is a bit shit, when I didn't want to use it it kicked in automatically, when I decided to try it it wouldn't work. Bring back lean.


The Levolution thing is kinda cool.

Planning on spending a bit more than an hour and a bit on it tonight after work. Had 2x 30min each conq rounds which was nice

Love the extra details the BF games are known for and spent a lot of the night opening and closing shutters and riding the lifts up and down. I want to unlock C4 so I can do jihad lifts! I wonder if you could throw a claymore in the lift?

Last night I was at the wrong end of a number of m320's as the lift doors opened, was fun.  Hopefully we don't have the c4 spam on objectives like we did in BF3.

How does one turn off 'battlescreen'?

When in game, look at battlelog, there is a blue bar towards the bottom of the screen which has three buttons: loadout, servers and battlescreen.  Clicking on the battlescreen button turns it on and off.  Its off by default.
