Finally got into dota2 from hon, and been playing a bit. Finally hit ranked. So thought i would see who else plays here.

It would seem this is likely to be something sinister. Still on my placement as well. Gotta say they are a lot more fast paced then normal games. Been getting some pretty average teams though, with a lot of games starting with us massively behind due to one lane failing bad, then slowly trying to pull it back but losing. I probably been trying a bit too hard, and failing to dominate mid, but i am really hoping these losses atleast turn up more even games.

Sorry to say mid level matchmaking 3300 to 4400 is still broken IMO. Seem to either be dominate the other team or be dominated about the 25min mark.

Solo que had me join a 4v5 stack as well - lucky their 5 man team was bad.

I'm around 3600 and I've notice that occasionally but often the games are really close and could go either way, that's usually when I que with a team of 4 or 5 though.

i played LoL, didnt think dota2 was much different so never tried it.

What I've found is generally the game you start with is the game you stick with. I always played DotA and tried LoL for a bit but was always comparing and didn't like it. Then you get LoL players try DotA and they say they don't like it and stick with LoL. Saying that I know a couple who have switched from LoL to DotA.

I play when I get time. Originally addicted to HoN but I have a whole bunch of people I know who play DotA so I'm trying to get back into it. Level 13 is hard to get though!

Gave up on this game after me and osiris kept getting terrible losses, often playing with massive assholes. It really seems like you consistently get average teammates on both teams, so there is no real fun in it. Had a bit of spell on HON with my friends, but now I have found my new love in heartstone.

Might as well semi necro this. I've been missing from here a long time (since mid way though On3 I'd say), but in that time I've quit TF2 and and playing Dota quite a bit. I don't know how well you guys will remember me, but toofast, sauce and prolax I seem to remember you were around back when I was active.

Guys, this is a beautiful forum with beautiful people. If someone is crap at a video game they are not beautiful, therefore a simple google search for dota 2 leaderboards would of sufficed.

Can someone delete this thread?
