Going well, think I am over the worst of it now, long weekend away helped and sent myself to bed after a few massive pints of Gin!Next steps booked, CT scans and see my surgeon on 30th, hopefully he can figure it out. To put it simply I haven't had a pain free day in over 3 years and it's been a constant battle for the last 20 years, every morning and night is like having2 severely sprained ankles, I hate getting out of bed in the morning!

it's 100% joint/bone related, I have already had my subtalar joint removed in each ankle and now it's spreading to surrounding joints. I'll either be looking at a full ankle (triple) arthrodesis, complete ankle replacement or absolute worst case will be chopping the fuckers off but I would go through nerve removal etc before I get that far so I just can't feel it at all, if the surgeon said to me I could have 100% pain free life by chopping my feet off and having prosthetic terminator feet I would seriously consider it, but alas that's wishful thinking I don't think it will be that simple.I pretty much have the ankle joints of a 100yo
Me and the Mrs are looking at getting a place in the next few months. Have missed an adult living situation so much over the past year.Building a new gaming PC after a few years on console.Still making gym gains (curling 40kg for hypertrophy, was doing 40Kg for strength close to 6 months ago).

The one thing I regret (only one) when I went lone-wolf for a year was not renting my own place. I decided against it because I thought I didn't want to pay full rent, but looking back on it now and the crap that I had to put up with when I went back into a flatmate situation, paying full rent and living on my own would have been heaven.I'm just lucky I've managed to bunk up with a girl who games more than me, lifts as much as I do and doesn't judge when I take a 45 minute dump.
