Expedia always did me well.
Not been to that part of the world, but when it comes to booking hotels in a country I've not been too, Expedia always did me well.And then there's that site that keeps getting advertised on tele - Trivago. Never used it though.

Better luck using the official site for whatever airline you're using.That said they can be good for getting an idea on where to start looking though.
