These rules apply to GetSome ARK servers.

If you have any issues on a server or wish to file a complaint about something that happened, make a post in the ARK or bans and complaints forum.


GENERAL RULES
Admin Intervention
GetSome admins could intervene on any issue that may arise, that is not covered below.

General Conduct
While using our servers, you are expected to follow the rules and regulations of the servers. Anything that you may be doing that is bought to the attention of an admin, may result in due action being taken.

Cheating / Exploiting
NO Cheating, by hacking or any other means, to enable abilities or cheats that are not accessible in the standard game. Exploiting the map in anyway is also not allowed.

Communications Spam
NO Microphone or chat spamming. Text spam is not acceptable, you only need to say it once.
There are many terms, spam, spamming, flooding, repeating. These all fall under this rule.

Racism & Language
Using racist, sexist or otherwise offensive comments or words in the foray in any context towards any person. This includes excessive profanity, and over use of the word racist.

Disabilities, Gender abuse etc
Abusing other users & admins about their possible disability or their sexual gender is not excusable. Everyone lives a different life to you. DO NOT JUDGE!

Disrespect
Abusing or harassing players or administrators, this includes disagreement. Admins have a right to deal with the issue if it becomes a problem. If you have an issue, post on the group or website forums.

Admin Impersonation/Harrasment
Impersonating any admin or implying that you can get people banned/kicked/etc without due cause. Harrasing an admin is also prohibited. You are allowed to talk to and with them, but being annoying gets you nowhere, you may be kicked.

Server Advertising
NO external server advertising is allowed. This goes for all servers outside the GetSome organisation. Warnings may be given, but a kick/ban could come your way.

Silly faces aka lenny
These faces, usually binds, are now a kick/bannable offence. They are being overused and spammed way too much. Action is being taken to prevent this.

Your Game Name/Server Name
Your player name (nickname) should be readable and hopefully pronounceable. You are not allowed to fill it up with heaps of random icons, web links, gaps/spaces or rubbish either.
No face names of any kind are allowed to be used, this makes for harder trading and annoyance for admins. If you are also seen to have NO NAME(blank) or a face in your name, you will be asked to change it. If not, admins will change it for you. Ignoring this will have you banned.

ARK RULES
Resource Re-spawning
To allow for resource re-spawning, you are not allowed to build on the top of mountains, or around any heavily resourced areas. This stops re-spawning of necessary items to get through the game.
If we find a building on a mountain, expect it to be removed with no notice. Regardless of whats inside.

Raiding
While the server is PvE (Player vs Environment) we don't like raiding, but it is part of the game. Most people discourage it. If you are caught raiding or killing off a players tames, then be prepared for the backlash.

Structures
You are not allowed to place random structures to stop others building nearby, getsome ark is not an official server that allows this. It's bad and annoying.

Disclaimer
These rules apply to the GetSome ARK server.
If you are found to be breaking any one of these rules, action may be taken. If for some reason you are breaking the rules and nothing is done about, just be aware that admins may still be watching.
If you are found to be ignoring rules and/or admins, you may be dealt with accordingly.

If players/users of GetSome servers undermine or question admin actions, don't be surprised if an admin kicks/bans you.
These rules may be adjusted where required.
